What I Wore: When clothing has a story.

Everyone need that one item in their wardrobe that no matter what it will automatically make them feel bad ass. For me it's this jacket. I had been looking for leather jacket to call my own for a while, but I was having difficulties finding one that fit the way I wanted it to. And then back in October my friend & I were in Forever 21 when I pulled this one off the rack. It was slightly damaged, too small & the only one like it in the whole store. Trust me on that last part, I looked around for a whole five minutes before conceding that there was not another one. And on top of being too small & damaged, it was also out of my price range. I tried it on anyways hoping that maybe this small it would fit anyways, trying to justify buying it always, a skill I'm way too good at. My friend took one look at me in this jacket when she decided to buy it for me as an early birthday gift, best friend ever? I think so. And after six months of wear since I got it, the size & little bit of damage have never been an issue.
Another item in the post I wanted to talk about was my Evenstar necklace. Since I won't be able to afford the Noble Collection one anytime soon this replica I picked up at Calgary Expo is perfect. So perfect in fact that after posting a picture of myself wearing it on twitter a friend demanded that I go back & buy one for her. Which I did, while picking up a replica Time Turner for my car.

Do you have any items in your wardrobe that have a great story behind them? If so what's the story, morning glory? Sorry, I had to make the oasis reference.

With love;
