// What's in My Bag #4

Hover on the above image to see what my bag looked like before sorting.
A while ago I got a new bag, one big enough to fit my tablet in. So I figured new bag, new "What's in My Bag" post. Some of these items are starting to repeat, like my notebooks, pens, and tablet. You know my essentials. My red Poppin notebook has been pictured on this blog before. I take this thing everywhere. It holds some of my receipts, movie stubs, post cards, greeting cards, scrap papers, to-do lists, my work schedule, business cards, everything. I'm almost finished it and will be switching to a red Moleskine in the new year but I can't imagine the last six months without it. It's been a constant companion and so many posts ideas I've had started within it's pages. I highly recommend that everyone have a notebook in their purse.

I do have to mention the cloth my things are laying on is the curtain of the window in my hall way. I live in a 1970s' trailer so the flooring in my bedroom is yellow linoleum. Not pretty and photographs horribly. Hence photography my things on a curtain. The curtain is from Target in case you like the pattern and want to know where it came from.

A small collection of make-up. Today I was late for work and grabbed my essential "wake up" make-up. Melted Sunglasses from Halloween Alley, Burt's Bees Hydrating Lip Balm, Benefit Bad Gal Lash, Benefit Lemon Aid, NYX Eyebrow Cake Powder, Sephora Angled Brush, Smiths Strawberry Lip Balm.

My blogging companions and collection of awesome PaperMate pens. I'm pretty sure I've mentioned these pens in every single edition of "What's in My Bag", so I won't bore you with why I love them. I've been using a Hilroy notepad to jot down ideas, and make to-do lists. And holly heck has it increased my productivity. The notepad is also the perfect size to double as a mouse pad when needed so it's always within arms reach of my tablet.

My iPhone 5s and amazing Dragons case. A very old iPod. I can't remember if I've ever talked about this iPod. It was given to me by Braydon when we first started dating over five years ago. I don't even know what type of iPod it is, just that it was free to me and it works. Thing is, this was a stolen iPod. Back when Braydon was a delinquent teenager he stole it out of a random binder in high school. I don't know whom it originally belonged to, and at this point it doesn't even matter. It just amuses me that it has a back story as to where it came from. Also pictured, some Hammonds ribbon candy that I can't decided if I want to eat or give as a Christmas gift to someone. And a half eaten chocolate orange.

My keys! The Iron Man key chain was purchased at a comic expo. The Slytherin key chain and lanyard both were bought at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. In cases you haven't figured it out, I'm a very proud Slytherin. There is also a Las Vegas key chain that was a gift from Braydons' mum, and a The Fault in Our Star key chain on my key ring. The key ring itself was boughten at an ABC store in Hawai'i five years ago, it repeats the word Hawai'i around the ring.

Logitech mouse, leftover lunch (chicken noodle soup and puff wheat square), and a package of Ricolas. As I mentioned I was sick over the last two weeks, so the Ricolas were great for soothing my throat. I also have a package of extra strength CÄ“pacol lozenges in orange flavour. These think are awesome, but they cause my tongue to swell so I avoid using them as much as possible. As always I had a bunch of receipts in the bottom of my purse. I also had my headphones,a film canister with a few ibuprofen and my wrist brace kicking around the bottom of my bag too.

Do you have any items that are always in you're bag/purse?

With Love;
Shelby
